Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) is a feature that allows the driver to choose the appropriate driving mode and, as a result, optimise the characteristics of drive force control and brake force control in accordance with off-road terrain conditions.
The Auto mode which predicts and selects the optimum mode for the current driving situation, is based on information from the various sensors and the driver's accelerator/brake operations. MTS can be controlled via the Multi-Terrain Monitor (MTM) on the control board, which displays a variety of distinct camera views including an under-vehicle view and a back underfloor view.5
